MISSION STATEMENT: 

Encouraging sorrowing families with helpful acts during their time of grief.

OVERVIEW: The ministry’s special assembly of workers stand ready to support the grieving with helpful encouragement and directions toward any Lilly Grove services we can offer. One of the more impactful features of the bereavement team is an effort to provide a catered meal for families during the height of their time in grief.

When experiencing a loss in the immediate family of a church member, and if assistance is needed with funeral planning, please contact the Care staff.

Grief services are available to minister to persons in our church family and community who are grieving the loss of a loved one or experiencing other losses. 

This ministry consist of a team of trusted counselors and church leaders who are on duty during the week to help with any urgent needs.
